Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing from the United States. Alongside the Road Trip role, he was also a part of The New Guy Hustle & Flow in addition to The Core. Alongside his role as a character in the film, Qualls has appeared in over 22 TV shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order etc. A survivor of Hodgkin's lymphoma and diagnosed at the age of 14 Qualls is an avid fighter. After two years of treatment, the cancer was cured. Being treated at such a young age had an adverse effect on his body. It hindered his development. When he first started to make decisions, financial security seemed like his ultimate objective. He had been in poverty throughout his childhood. In an interview, he said that if I do not have the financial security or feel out of control in the world, I'll be miserable. He also reflects on his childhood and hopes to take action on the issue of bullies. The cruelty inflicted on him breaks his heart. The ideal role for DJ is that of a real-life father. Director doesn't pick him for these roles however, he claims. He would like to become a dad one day, so he can devote more time with his child and not be so occupied with his work.
